Charli XCX just announced that she'll be releasing her third studio album Vroom Vroom  this Saturday!!! (Feb. 27th) via her new label of the same name. She also released two new songs "Trophy" and "Vroom Vroom" which you can listen to below as well as announcing her new label Vroom Vroom Recordings in which she introduced us to two new artists she signed - RIVRS and CuckooLander.

Below is the letter she sent out to the world.

Hey Angels,

I'm releasing a brand new EP called VROOM VROOM on Feb 27th on my own brand new record label Vroom Vroom Recordings... and I'm so excited about taking this next step.

I've worked with SOPHIE on the new EP and what we create together speaks for itself. Sometimes we get aggressive, sometimes we get beautiful; he pushes me and I push him. I'm making beautiful party songs right now and this is just the start. The album goes to other places and I can't wait for people to hear it. I feel the most creative I have in a long time and I couldn't be more excited for the next chapter...

You can hear the first track from it, called "Trophy", on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show tonight!!... and starting this Friday 8pm (UK time) I'm hosting my own Beats 1 show every fortnight. I'm going to have amazing guests and music so come tune in.

Vroom Vroom Recordings is my new, experimental pop label and it will combine my love for bubblegum pop with mystery and darkness. The artists coming up through it will be sharp, potent, deadly, and ultimately, will leave their mark on pop music.

RIVRS and CuckooLander are two artists who have so much intelligence, pop sensibility and potential - they know what they want and both have great vision.

That inspires me and it's why I want to work with them. I've always been fascinated by shy and introvert people - it's something that I am mostly not - and I feel both acts are in ways. It captivates me and sucks me in, and I think their music will do the same for others.

We're kicking this off live on March 11th and Ace Hotel in Shoreditch with a live performance from RIVRS, I'll be DJing along with Cuckoolander, and there might be some more surprises on the night. Tickets are on sale HERE but it's super intimate, so don't wait too long.

I'll have news on my full new album coming soon, but until then go check out RIVRS and Cuckoolander on Vroom Vroom and stand by for my full VROOM VROOM EP.

Known for being a devout feminist and fighting sexism and misogynistic online comments towards her, it's only natural that Chvrches front-woman Lauren Mayberry dawns body armor in their latest video "Clearest Blue," where we see her wearing shiny armour, alone in a misty forest.

In the past six months, Chvrches has already released two other videos for "Empty Threat" and "Leave a Trace."

Currently on tour in support of the newest album Every Open Eye, the video  was directed by Warren Fu.  Check out the video below.

Today, cutting-edge electronica pop trio Vaults announce the details for brand new single ‘Midnight River’, set for immediate release on February 19th via Republic Records.  Check it out below.

‘Midnight River’ is the perfect example of what Vaults have on offer; melodic, electronic and atmospheric magic. The track breathes energy and optimism in a way that’s hard to ignore, combining piano built electronica with lead singer Blythe Pepino’s stunning vocals.

The London trio have shot from being the hottest unsigned band in the UK – courtesy of a Number One Hype Machine slot – to acclaimed performances at Latitude and Reading/Leeds festivals. Last year they blew audiences away, selling out the Village Underground in London, touring the US including gigs at CMJ and BBC Introducing in New York, not to mention touring with Paolo Nutini. This band promise one of the most keenly anticipated debut albums of 2016 with over 50 million streams online and fans including Alt-J, Bastille and Ellie Goulding.

Vaults are Ben Vella, Barney Freeman and Blythe Pepino. On stage and in the studio, the talents of threesome alchemically combine to create a product of the trio’s innovative imagination, and of their serious, and seriously broad, individual musical backgrounds.

NEW VIDEO: FKA twigs Premieres 'Good To Love'

Originally performed live during FKA twigs' Soundtrack 7 residency at the Manchester International Festival, FKA twigs has premeired a brand new single, "Good To Love."

The video was directed by FKA twigs herself and the single will be available across all digital platforms at midnight tonight featuring cover photography by Alexandra Horgan.

In 2014, FKA twigs released her debut album, LP1, which won her UK Album of the Year which was then followed a year later by the critically acclaimed EP M3LLI55X.

FKA twigs is also pleased to announce that she will perform 'Good To Love' live on television next week. She will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, February 24th, returning to the show where she made her US television debut.

In addition to the Tonight Show performance, FKA twigs will also perform live in New York next week as part of the Tibet House Benefit Concert. The concert will take place at Carnegie Hall on Monday, February 22nd, with twigs joining the likes of Philip Glass, Basia Bulat and Dechen Shak Dagsay on the bill.

We all know bands will go to great lengths to get to a gig; driving hundreds, if not, thousands of miles for a 30 minute set...even playing for peanuts just for the chance to play in front of 5 people (2 of them are bartenders).

Los Angeles' very own Bleached has gone to the next level with their new video for "Wednesday Night Melody"  which is the second song off their upcoming album Welcome the Worms.  It's their second album since their debut album Ride Your Heart was released to critical acclaim in 2013.

Last month, they released the first single and video for "Keep on Keepin' On." They also announced their tour in support of the new album starting next month at SXSW.

In the video, front-woman Jennifer Clavin is found dead before their show at The Smell.  Rather than calling 911, sister Jessica and bassist Micayla Grace  tidy up her body for one last show, adding color to her cheeks and tying up her arms and legs to her guitar before playing to a packed venue.

Check out the video below.  Welcome the Worms drops this April.

Belly has announced via their website that they'll be headed out on tour this summer and that they've been working on new songs.

Led by former Throwing Muses singer, Tanya Donelly, Belly, rose to fame during the 90's alternative scene with hits songs like "Feed the Tree," "Slow Dog" and "Gepetto."  In 2014, Donelly, who has since been touring solo,  did a co-headling tour with sister Kristin Hersh and Throwing Muses, often singing a few Belly songs during her set.

No dates have been announced yet but they did confirm that the tour will start in July starting in the UK and then will head stateside around August.  Read their announcement below.

"Belly is very happy to announce that we will be reuniting to play some shows this coming summer in the US and the UK.  Dates will be announced as they are confirmed, but right now we can tell you with relative confidence that the UK shows will fall in the middle of July, and US shows will be scattered throughout August and possibly into September.
We’ve also got a handful of brand new Belly songs in various stages of writing and recording, that we’ll be releasing one by one over the next few months.  First previews will be right here on the website!
We are very excited to be playing together again, and hope to see you out there in Summer of 2016!

Since her online debut two years ago, Allie X has amassed a huge, loyal following with her radio-ready, electro-pop sounds.   The Toronto-born artist can be found on many music tastemakers "Artists to Watch" list for 2016.

With the announcemet of a new North American tour with Troye Sivan, Allie X is celebrating by offering, for free, her new song "Old Habits Die Hard."

"'Old Habits Die Hard' is an xpression of this action: laughing at your own weakness as it seduces you one more time. It's a cruel reality when you believe you've overcome an addiction, just to find that it still has you by the throat," say Allie X.   "I tried to keep the language of the lyric conversational, because 'old habits die hard', the saying itself, has a jest in it's undertone (like so many idioms do) that seems to justify/celebrate that self destructive moment when you just...give up."

You can download "Old Habits Die Hard"  here

North American Tour Dates Listed Below
February 2016:
3rd: Vancouver BC - The Vogue
4th:  Seattle WA - Showbox SoDo
6th:  Portland OR - Roseland Theater
