Ryn Weaver, on her first ever U.S. headlinig tour, hit the famed El Rey Theater in Los Angeles on Monday to a sold out crowd.

On tour since March, Weaver just released her highly anticipated debut album The Fool last month.

Recently named an MTV Artist to Watch as well as one of Time's "15 Artists To Watch In 2015" and one of Huffington Post's "25 Artists You Need To Start Listening To In 2015," Weaver rose to prominence after her debut single "OctaHate" was released online last year. Since, "OctaHate" has been streamed more than 6 million times on Spotify.

Born and raised in SoCal, this night felt special, like a homecoming of sorts with the sold-out crowd not just singing along to her hits songs "Promises" and "Octahate" but every other song which Weaver made note of.

She even took a break to joke about the fascination of social media and how everyone has thousands of  'internet" friends yet "real friends" are few and far between.  She then asked everyone to turn and introduce themselves to at least two strangers.  It was a special gesture in a night where everyone in the room, at least, had one thing in common - the love for Ryn Weaver.

With her father and brothers in attendance,  the highlight of the night was when Ryn turned it down a notch to perform "The Travelling Song" which she wrote in honor of her grandfather.

And when, at the end of the night, she burst into "Octahate" fans rushed the stage to dance and sing with Weaver.
