The Red Viper (Pedro Pascal) and Heidi Klum stars in Sia's new video

Director Francesco Carrozzini, Heidi Klum and Pedro Pascal
I always get excited for Sia's new videos.  Not because her songs are always so great but because her videos always have that theatrical feeling, full of emotional visuals that you can't take your eyes of off.   Well, her newest video for "Fire Meet Gasoline" gives you that same feeling.  Starring Game of Thrones Pedro Pascal and everyone's favorite reality host (and supermodel) Heidi Klum.

"Fire Meet Gasoline" from the album 1000 FORMS OF FEAR by Sia is directed by Francesco Carrozzini for Heidi Klum Intimates.  Check out the video below.

Shonen Knife

Legendary all-female pop/punk band Shonen Knife will be without bassist Ritsuko while she attends to her maternity leave which leaves the band bringing back original member Atsuko (young sister of lead singer Naoko) for the first time in nearly a decade for their upcoming stateside tour.  This news comes on the heels of Shonen Knife's upcoming US tour with CJ Ramone.

Below are statements from the band and Ritsuko.

A message from Shonen Knife:

There is some exciting news in the world of Shonen Knife, this month our bassist Ritsuko will be going on maternity leave. Mother and baby are in good health. We are praying for her safe delivery and quick return to the band.
For Shonen Knife's US Tour 2015 in June w/ CJ Ramone, original member Atsuko will be joining the band as bassist for the shows. It will be a unique opportunity for US fans to see Atsuko performing on bass for the first time in nearly a decade in the US.
Also, for the upcoming show on May 31st at Fandango, Osaka and our annual 712 DAY PARTY tour in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, our friend NARU will play the bass.
Thank you very much for your support and encouragement.

A message from Ritsuko:

I have a baby on the way!!!
Am I following similar "got pregnant stories" frequently made public recently in the gossip columns? No!! Mine is the real happy love story!!
I am very happy now, even though I will miss the upcoming North American tour. I am grateful to Atsuko-san for rejoining Shonen Knife in the upcoming tour.
Also, I know that Naru-san is the most charming and talented bassist who will take my part from now on. I am very happy to recall that I have been given a part in the activities of Shonen Knife together with the charming members and staff of Shonen Knife. I do hope I will have a chance someday to return to the stage and perform in front of the enthusiastic Shonen Knife fans.
I will remain unchanged as one of the most dedicated fans of Shonen Knife.
Thank you. Ritsuko

Charli XCX

I first heard the catchy club-hip/pop song "Drop That Kitty"  when Charli XCX performed during last weekend's MTV Movie Awards featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Tinashe which she shared a writing credit on.

Now we get to watch the official music video, shot on the streets of Downton Los Angeles with super-imposted cats heads on dancers.  The song is produced by Cashmere Cat it's off of Ty Dolla $ign's upcoming debut album Free TC.  Check out the video below.

Ahead of the June 2nd release of "How Big How Blue How Beautiful," Florence + the Machine premiered their new single "Ship To Wreck."

“I was thinking about my own self destructive side, and how you can make something only to tear it down, enjoy/destroy, create/devastate etc. When you're in that whirlwind, you often end up breaking the thing you love the most”.

The accompanying video, which will drop this week,  was filmed in Florence's own home.  This Sunday, Florence + the Machine will take the Main Stage as Coachella before Drake.

The new album ‘How Big How Blue How Beautiful’ is a collection of songs, written and recorded over the course of 2014. Produced by Markus Dravs (Björk, Arcade Fire, Coldplay) with contributions from Paul Epworth, Kid Harpoon and John Hill, the third album by Florence + The Machine is live-sounding, tune-rich, unhinged in all the right places and powerful in all the best ways. In voice and, ultimately, outlook Florence has never sounded better.

After spending the last two months on the road  KITTEN entered the Troubadour on Friday for what was to be the first night of a two night sold out homecoming shows.  But a day later and hours before their second consecutive show, frontwoman Chloe Chaidez posted via social media that Saturday's show was postponed due to nodules on her vocal chords on doctor's orders.
" Kill us to do this, but we must post pone tonights show due to a medical emergency. I have nodules and if I were to do another show tonight i could possibly lose my voice for a very very long time. Another date will be set as soon as possible and we will see you soon for an amazing show. You guys killed it last night "
And it was apparent early on that 20 year-old singer Chloe Chaidez was battling through the loss of her voice which was noticeable during her acoustic performance of "Kill The Light."  But other than her  vocal problems, Chloe gave it her all, playing to a hometown crowd that lifted her and carried her through (literally) the night, playing older songs as well as new songs from their debut album while also performing covers of David Bowie's "Heroes" and "Purple Rain" by Prince.

Their postponed show will be rescheduled which will take place in a couple weeks.
