Charli XCX

Charli XCX's new video "Famous" which premiered via The YouTube Awards,  shows the growing dependence on social media versus reality  and highlighing the ugly side of constantly living through the digital age.

For the video, which Charli XCX filmed exclusively for the YouTube Awards, she brought on actor/director Eric Wareheim whose credits include MGMT, Major Lazer and Beach House to create her vision.

“I love Eric Wareheim and I was so excited when I found out he wanted to work with me. I don't need to explain the video - just watch it. It's gross" says Charli XCX.

Critically acclaimed all over the world, Charli XCX has received over 250 million Spotify streams, 241 million YouTube views and sold over 615,000 albums worldwide.
