AFTER A DECADE, NATALIE MERCHANT RELEASES NEW ORIGINAL MUSIC

It's been over a decade since we've heard new original music from Natalie Merchant, the former front-woman from one of my favorite bands EVER - 10,000 Maniacs who branched out on a solo career when she released Tigerlily in 1995.

Yesterday, NPR premiered her new song "Giving Up Everything" saying "Rarely is an artist as honest and revealing as Natalie Merchant in her new video and song, 'Giving Up Everything.' " 

It's off her new self-titled album which drops May 6th via Nonesuch Records which you can pre-order on her website right HERE.
